Brush up on your conservation goals. Pack up your elbow grease and some grotto members, and then join the VAR Conservation Committee efforts to scrub graffiti from a much maligned Virginia cave near I-64’s Low Moor exit.

Camping is available Friday & Saturday evening at the RASS field station.

Lunch and water will be provided Saturday (thanks Triangle Troglodytes), but please bring your own snacks and extra water. The cave is mostly dry and much warmer than most Virginia caves.

  • Wire and plastic brushes
  • Extra toothbrushes
  • 1- to 3-gallon containers
  • Spray bottles for water
  • Rags
