| July 9-14 | CaveSim, the "amazingly realistic" mobile cave that teaches kids of all ages about caves, will be making stops throughout Virginia this week. Come by to join in the fun, or to volunteer. | |

| Sept 20-22 | Orientation to Cave Rescue by NCRC-EC at Elkins, WV, Fire department, camping at OTR site. | |

In addition to these special events, there is a survey or project somewhere in the Region just about every weekend. Check the listings, and then check with the project coordinator to make sure the project is meeting when you think it is.
